1. As of 07 July 2024, all notebooks, diaries, planners, journals, etc., will be wire bound by default. We have discontinued the stapple, case and perfect binding options.
2. Notebook Components
   Please submit the following components in a single, print-ready PDF file, in the exact order. We do not combine, rearrange, or adjust files:

   • • Front Outer Cover: The main front cover of your notebook.

     • Front Inner Cover: Appears just inside the front cover. Often used for branding or “If found, return to” details. This page will be printed on thicker paper than the inner pages.

     • Inner Pages: The main writing section of the notebook — these are the standard pages used for notes, journaling, or planning.

     • Back Outer Cover: The final outside page of the notebook — usually matches or complements the front cover design.
3. Page Order Matters
   Ensure pages are in the exact sequence you want printed. We print as-is — left to right, front to back. Even-numbered pages will appear on the left-hand side, and odd-numbered pages will appear on the right-hand side when the book is opened. Use this to plan your layout carefully. Insert blank pages where necesary eg page 1 is the front cover, and page 2 is a blank page representing the back side of the front cover.
4. Margins, Bleed, & Safe Zones
   • Keep all important text and graphics at least 10mm from the edges to prevent trimming errors and punching into your content during binding.
   • White boarders will be trimmed off. Add 3mm bleed.
   • Do not include cutting guides/marks or printer marks.
5. Single-Sided Design Only
   Designs must be formatted as single pages, not spreads. Each page should be a standalone A4/A5/A6 page (or your chosen size).
6. Resolution & Colour
   For the best print quality, design at 300 DPI in CMYK colour mode to ensure clarity and accurate colour reproduction.

What materials are used to make custom notebooks?

• Covers: Our notebooks feature a 350gsm card, 750gsm board or 1200gsm hard board covers that protect your pages and give a high-quality, sturdy feel.

Card is soft, and can be bent; Board is hard, not easily bent like a counter book; Hard is very Rigid

• Protection: For extra protection, you can add a Frosted or Clear PVC cover or opt for cold lamination, which offers scratch-resistant durability to keep your notebooks looking fresh.
• Binding: We use wire binding by default, which allows your notebooks to lay flat for easy writing and provides long-lasting flexibility. You can choose your preferred binding colour from white, black, gold, or rose gold to perfectly complement your notebook theme and styles.
